A table with hollow legs that pierce through the tabletop, with the painted interior evoking a sense of gazing into an abyss. The archetype of a table is simple and long-standing: columns supporting a surface to create a usable flat space. To bring a new perception, we have designed four table legs to pierce through the tabletop, revealing what was once suppressed and hidden. Additionally, the hollow design of the legs creates a sense of bottomless depth. This is not to emphasize a feeling of emptiness but to provide an experience of gazing into an abyss, helping us better understand our innermost fears and desires.
